Wales teams

Advisory teams

There are advisory teams for each of the sections, and other distinct areas such as activities, adult training, special needs and child protection.  They are chaired by the relevant Wales Commissioner or Advisor, and are comprised of the relevant AACs from each Area.

The function of the teams is to advise the Welsh Scout Council on matters of strategic development within their speciality.  The teams meet twice a year, in spring and autumn.

Youth forums

Youth forums for Scouts and Explorer Scouts meet along side the advisory team meetings.  Due to the nature of the section, youth representation for Scout Network is currently achieved with a member from each Area joining with the advisory team meeting, rather than a distinct forum.
