Silver Cross

Silver Cross is an ideal venue for all types of Scouting camps from a Patrol weekend through to a main Summer camp, a group or even a District. The site is made up of 15 acres of deciduous woodland, and is also bordered by the small river Llan. Along with the main camping area there is also a range of varying terrain, which is ideal for survival training, wide games, and many other activities.
We have ample space on the site to accommodate several troops camping side by side and this proves a great way of building friendships between groups from all over the country and even on some occasions with many of the International Groups who visit the site. The Pembroke Building is a large indoor accommodation unit with sufficient room to comfortably sleep 40 people & leaders. The building is also used extensively as a base for leader training within the Area and has full disabled access and amenities.
Silvercross can provide a number of activities such as Archery, Rifle Shooting, Climbing, Abseiling, Assault Course and Orienteering. The site is situated just off the A48 between Jct 46 and Jct 47 of the M4 and is close to coastal activities and rural expedition areas. Contact the friendly Silvercross team and they will be more than happy to give out for information.
