Sections of Scouting
The Scouting family is comprised of five age ranges. All sections share the same areas of programme, getting more adventurous as young people progress through the sections.
Beavers
The youngest members of the Scouting family are Beaver Scouts. Children aged 6 to 8 begin their Scouting adventure by having fun and making friends.
Cubs
Cub Scouts for boys and girls aged 8 to 10½.
Scouts
Scouts for youngsters aged 10½ to 14.
Explorers
Explorer Scouts for teenages between 14 and 18.
Network
Scout Network for young adults aged 18 to 25.
