DofE Gold "open" expedition

Are you looking for an opportunity to undertake a Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award expedition?

ScoutsWales will be running an "open" gold expedition from its centre at Hafod in Snowdonia this summer.  This will be open to any members of Scouting who wish to complete either a final assessed expedition or undertake complete expedition training including a final practice expedition.

The event is intended as an opportunity for individuals or small numbers who are unable to form their own team to undertake an expedition.

The event will run from 20 to 28 August 2009 and will be staffed by experienced expedition supervisors and assessors.

The cost will be £150 which includes all food, accommodation, camp fees and transport during the week.
