ScoutsWales has received the Collaboration Award at a recent celebration event showcasing the CWVYS 'Getting Together' Project. The Project, funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, saw a consortium of 10 CWVYS members working together to build stronger communities through a programme of youth led community activity delivered through truly collaborative working.

Congratulations to Jill Gloster, former Chief Commissioner for ScoutsWales, on receiving an OBE for her services to the Scouting Movement in Wales and David Gerrard, former ScoutsWales Trustee and Deputy Area Commissioner in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan Area, on receiving a MBE for his services to Young People in Cardiff through the Scout Movement.

ScoutsWales would also like to congratulate all the other Scouting recipients, across the UK, in the New Years Honours List.
