Students

One of the great things about Scout Network is that you can be a member of any number of units. This means that if you move away from home to go to uiversity, you can participate in Network activities both at home and in university.

If you are in university anywhere in Wales, or living in Wales, you are very welcome to join in with our activities, and the activities of the Area Network where you live. Please fill in the Join us form, and we will send you more information.

If you are a member of Network Wales, or just leaving your Explorer unit for university, please take a look at the Scoutbase university list to find out what area your University is in, and go to the Scoutbase list of local contacts for details.

Or, if you are a Leader in your home area, and would like to link up with a local group during term time, please fill in the Join us form, and say so in the "any questions" box!

SSAGO

SSAGO LogoSSAGO is a network of university-based Scout and Guide clubs that is a non-uniformed organisation affiliated to both the Scout Association and GirlGuiding UK. It is open to all students at university or college of higher education.

SSAGO provides all students the opportunity to continue their Scouting & Guiding whilst at university through a wide range of activities:

  • Adventure - climbing & sailing
  • Social - barbecues & bowling
  • Community - hikes & conservation
  • and everything in between!

SSAGO can also assist you find a local Guide or Scout group who need your help.

One weekend every term all SSAGO clubs across the UK meet up for a fantastic Rally Event.
