2011 World Scout Jamboree - Sweden

Where: Rinkaby, outside Kristianstad, Sweden

When: 27th July until 7th August 2011

Who can participate:  Explorer Scouts who are aged between 14 and not yet had your 18th birthday at the start of the camp. That means you must have been born between 25 July 1993 and 27 July 1997.

Adults can apply to attend the Jamboree either as Contingent Staff, or as part of the International Service Team (IST).

    Sweden covers an area of 449.964 sq.kms. This is roughly the same size as the State of California. The country is about 1.900 kms long north to south and 400 kms wide east to west at the widest point. This corresponds to the US Eastern Seaboard from the Canadian border to the Florida keys. The population is 9 million or 21 per sq.km.The capital is Stockholm (area pop. 1,3 mill).
