Pistyll Rhaeadr. The hidden Pearl of Wales
This is the highest waterfall in Great Britain south of the highlands of Scotland.
It is an area of Special Scientific Interest. The waterfall has a drop of 73m.

Dan Yr Ogaf. The National Showcaves of Wales
When touring these caves you will come across a frozen waterfall, a wolf's head and a flitch of bacon!

The Parish Church of St Giles
The Wrexham church is the historic centre of the town. The street pattern reveals how the town grew out from the boundary of the churchyard, which is typical of medieval towns across Britain. The Church has a 41m high steeple.

Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales at 1082m. Home to a vast areas at varied heights above sea level offering a varied range of Biodiversity. With Hill walks and a mountain railway a great range of opportunities for all levels of ability.

Overton Yew Trees
St Mary’s Church at Overton has very large yew trees. Yew trees have always been associated with burial grounds.
National Botanical Gardens of Wales
Winner of the 2007 National Lottery Awards for the best environmental project the gardens has a lot to see and teach. The gardens situated near Carmarthen have several areas of interest and cultivate some of Wales rarest plants.

St Winnifred’s Well
It is situated next to the Parish Church in Holywell.
It has attracted many pilgrims over the past 1300 years and is compared to Lourdes in France. The Well is a site of interest linked to the fantastic history that surrounds it.

St Govan’s Well
St. Govan’s Chapel, built in the 12th Century is found at the base of some cliffs in St Govan’s Range, Pembrokeshire. Set in an area of Special Scientific Interest it is home to a vast range of wildlife. The Well itself has great healing for people suffering from leg and foot disease. This well has been allowed to dry up.

Gresford bells
The Parish Church at Gresford is dedicated to All Saints and regarded as one of the finest churches in Wales.

The Church once housed a miraculous handbell known as Bangu, it allegedly had miraculous powers.
