General information

Cub Scouts have six months to complete the Award after transfer to the Scout Troop.

The Award is organised on a roll on-roll off basis, so that Cub Scouts may start the Award at any time as they join the Pack and be awarded the badge when they complete the clauses, even if this is later than the majority of the Pack.

Supporting evidence

Supporting evidence can take many forms:

Scrapbook

You keep a scrapbook of your reports and photographs.

Pictures

Use lots of pictures to tell your story. Memories fade but photographs are forever, and also qualify for the Photographer badge!). You could even draw your own pictures or make models.

Video Reports

The scrapbook could be turned into a video diary.

Report

Leaders can help Cub Scouts to prepare written or audio reports.

Cubs can type them out on their own computers and add their own personal touch to the report.

You can use anything  as long as it records the work your Pack has produced and can be reviewed by the AAC/ADC.
